The UK is Australia's largest market in tourist numbers; well over half a million of us make the trip every year. It's not hard to see why; this amazingly diverse, fascinating country really does have something for everyone.

UK Passport holders can apply for, and normally have granted, an ETA (Electronic Travel Authority) visa online at a cost of AUD20. This is valid for three months and is a very simple process.

For those on a longer stay, working visas can be arranged quite simply but are never guaranteed.

China Airlines, KLM/Air France, Etihad, Singapore and Malaysian all show good availability to Sydney. There are also good options to Perth for those wishing to enter Australia there.
